Short Residency Programme 2026

Students can apply for this compact resi­dency to further develop projects which have previously been guided by a Professor. The period in Monte­pul­ciano is for inde­pen­dent work. In conjunc­tion with the opera produc­tion »Don Chisciotte« by Hans Werner Henze as a colla­bo­ra­tion between the Kolleg der Künste and the Cantiere Inter­na­zio­nale d’Arte, the 2026 Students in Resi­dence program welcomes artistic or rese­arch projects in parti­cular with a focus on Hans Werner Henze or on the general theme »Don Quixote«.

In Monte­pul­ciano, the project parti­ci­pants are provided with accom­mo­da­tion and travel expenses for the resi­dency are also covered as part of the funding. Scho­lar­ship holders pay a personal cont­ri­bu­tion of 130 euros each.
