Venues

Monte­pul­ciano offers many inspi­ring work­places and venues. In addi­tion to the Palazzo Ricci, which is the centre of the projects and events, the Kolleg can also use other perma­nent produc­tion and perfor­mance venues for indi­vi­dual projects: For example, the Teatro Poli­ziano, built at the end of the 18th century, with its historic inte­rior. Concerts, opera and theatre produc­tions, but also work­shops, perfor­mances and instal­la­tions are possible in this historic theatre buil­ding. And every year, the parti­ci­pants in the Kolleg-projects in Monte­pul­ciano discover diffe­rent and new loca­tions for their projects – for example an empty shop, a converted vaulted cellar or one of the numerous hidden cour­ty­ards.
