For almost two weeks, the Palazzo Ricci in Monte­pul­ciano, urban space and stages will become a unique labo­ra­tory in which inter­di­sci­pli­nary work is the concept and programme. What happens when diffe­rent artistic disci­plines meet for a certain period of time and work and rese­arch toge­ther? What new approa­ches to one’s own disci­pline are created through an equal exch­ange with “the others”? Expe­ri­ments and trials, obser­va­tions and analyses open up a special form of work­shop work in which some­thing new is created by brin­ging the disci­plines toge­ther and in which limi­ta­tions and unpre­dic­ta­bi­lity cont­ri­bute to the crea­tive process, just like in a labo­ra­tory.

Working period in Monte­pul­ciano: 14.9.-26.9.2025, prepa­ra­tion date in the summer semester 2025 in NRW. Final events in Monte­pul­ciano 24 and 25 September 2025.

The follo­wing NOTES apply to parti­ci­pa­tion: The costs for the transfer to Monte­pul­ciano (planned: joint group arrival and depar­ture in a coach over­night; depar­ture from NRW: Saturday 13 September; return to NRW: 27 September) and for the accom­mo­da­tion of the parti­ci­pants in flats on site will be borne by the College. A communal meal is planned for the first week, further cate­ring costs (cooking faci­li­ties avail­able in the flats) are borne by the parti­ci­pants. Students pay a personal cont­ri­bu­tion of 150 euros to secure their parti­ci­pa­tion.
